Reading Tuesday with Morrie is awe inspiring.
Saya suka pendapat Morrie mengenai kebudayaan.
Morrie is a person who accept his life as it is, even when its get worse.
Some devastating earthquake hits Java and Sumatera after i read Tuesday with Morrie. I keep thinking about it as a constant reminder of death, for me (and i am in my early twenty).
Then, i just want to share what i think is important from Tuesday with Morrie.
I am amazed by the fact that Morrie accept his near-death condition and also still able to live his life gracefully after he heard about his condition. It is how he overcome his pain, how good he treats people even when he was that sick that is amazing. Instead being angry, he just moving forward.
Love his idea on culture, that some people will feel left behind because of it. Unfortunately, we will not be able to buy some of the culture according to our needs. Though, to make the best of it, we could compromise.
Obviously, we only have short life, how we make the best of it and to prepare for the journey after it, Yang jelas, kehidupan kita tuh pendek banget, bagaimana kita menyikapi hidup adalah bekal kita satu-satunya, if u believe in after life anyway.
Here is the thing, i still care what people say. Morrie is at the point that he really dont care what people say.
I also like a question "have you make peace with yourself?" i found it very difficult, to forgive and accept myself for who i am. If only they got a lesson on this particular subject..
